Our committee, in conjunction with Livonia Rotary is currently organizing the 1st Annual Little Lakes Youth Triathlon. This event will be the first of its kind in Livingston County and will open to any child in grades 3-8 in Livingston County and surrounding counties. It will involve age appropriate swimming, biking, and running distances. We are emphasizing a healthy start for fun and fitness for our areas youth. The event will take place on Saturday May 22, 2010 at Livonia Central School. In order to make this a success for the children we are asking for personal and corporate sponsorships at various levels (see below).

As an added incentive, a portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated back to area schools to support health, wellness, and fitness programs. The top 3 school districts with the most participants will be awarded these funds. This will be based on a percentage of participants versus school enrollment in grades 3-8. Donations can be in the form of a monetary gift or selected items needed for the event.
